Welcome to Believing in yourself one day at a time
Welcome this blog will have a few different topics such as mental health, food, overcoming addictions, trauma, abuse, domestic violence, my thoughts are "coming out of the darkness and into the light" I have much personal experience with all of these and as a psychologist I want to teach others that one day at a time we can be who ever we want to be. Food you ask I love to cook and will share different thoughts and how cooking helped save my life along with music. SO join in and share your thoughts freely and PLEASE RESPECT EVERYONE'S thoughts and opinions or you will be removed from this blog! Not to be mean but this is a safe place for people to talk and get feed back.

DeleteStruggling is apart of everyone's life, it is how you handle those struggles. Do you use them as stepping stones or do you let them become stumbling blocks. I Pray that you find peace and happiness this day. Feel free to talk about those struggles and allow our bloggers to support you. There is a light at every tunnel and peace will come to you in time.
Today I have focused on passion,That one or maybe three things that make me so happy in life. My top five passions are Singing, cooking, helping others, my family, and learning. I have not always had a passion in my life. For most of my life I found it to be quite dark and lonely. So I covered it up with drugs and alcohol and finding love in all the wrong places. 34 1/2 months ago I found my self in ICU in a coma for 4 days. I met GOD and he said "you are not done down there go back, find your Passion and run with it" As you can see all my passions have things to do with making others happy as well as myself. I hope while I am hear on earth if I can make a difference in just ONE person's life through my cooking, singing, my family, through my career than I have done my job that I was put on this earth to do. So all of you that think there is nothing or no one to live for,and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel find that one thing that you are passionate about and experience it to the fullest. Enjoy life one day at a time, smile, laugh and experience every moment, feeling. Till Next time may God bless you and keep you.
